Turku-based OliOil's technology innovation saves the seas from spreading oil spills with the help 💎🐋 of artificial intelligence. Oil spills occur in the world's oceans every 15 minutes, and often due to old ships. The renewal of equipment is slow, but the seas should be saved now.
💡 OliOil.iO ‘s automated oil spill response robot immediately detects a spill and isolates it before it spreads.
👉 The solution can be installed on all existing vessels, minimizing damage from a wide range of vessels.
OliOil has just been ranked as the world's sixth most significant pioneer and start-up company in the oil and gas industry based on a report by StartUs Insights, so we will surely hear from them again. The shipbuilding industry and boatbuilding expertise in the Turku region have been a big part of OliOil's development, as has the Åbo Akademi University n Boat Research Institute.
