Réseau CHEDE Hosts Prestigious Gala at the Yacht Club de France to Celebrate the “Year of the Sea”

Réseau CHEDE successfully hosted its annual Gala on 21 November 2025 at the historic Yacht Club de France, an emblematic venue that reflects France's rich maritime heritage. The event aligned with the national theme of the “Year of the Sea,” bringing together members and stakeholders from across the maritime and economic development ecosystem.

The Yacht Club de France, a site steeped in history and once frequented by Jules Verne, provided a fitting backdrop for an evening dedicated to maritime excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Réseau CHEDE Hosts Prestigious Gala at the Yacht Club de France to Celebrate the “Year of the Sea”A highlight of the evening was the keynote address delivered by Ms. Nathalie Mercier-Perrin Nathalie Mercier-Perrin, President of the French Maritime Cluster and Guest of Honour. Her speech offered clear and insightful perspectives on the maritime sector, addressing current challenges and future opportunities within the global blue economy.

This edition of the Gala also underscored Réseau CHEDE's commitment to solidarity and social responsibility, with dedicated support extended to Sea Rescue (SNSM) in recognition of their essential role in maritime rescue and safety.

The event was organised under the leadership of Ms. Béatrice Saillard Béatrice Saillard, President of Réseau CHEDE, together with the Board of Directors. Réseau CHEDE also acknowledged the contribution of Mr. Philippe Metzger, author of Pilot of the sea, whose participation enhanced the maritime focus of the evening, as well as OliOil.io, partner of the event.

Beyond the formal proceedings, the Gala served as a valuable platform for members of the CHEDE community to reconnect, exchange ideas, and explore the many dimensions of the blue economy, reinforcing a shared vision for sustainable maritime development.
